Using tree stands for hunting is of great advantage to a hunter. You can view the deer so well because you are above the grass taking less chances of his notice. This equipment has three different kinds. You can choose fixed position, tripod or climbing trees stand
We will discuss how these three kinds of tree stands work to your advantage and provide you some deer hunting tips. More likely if there is an advantage there is also a disadvantage. Your personal choices well mean much for the effectiveness of this tool. Now let me introduce to you the three kinds of stand.
1.)Ladder Treestands – this has a platform and a seat with a chain. It has a ladder that can be screwed or hook to the tree. Its advantage is this can leave up all year, if you are on a private property. But the disadvantage on the other hand, this can be stolen. You cannot change your position easily because it needs proper installation before you can start using it. If your style of hunting is just staying in one place and waiting for the deer to come near you, then probably this type is more likely enough for you. But if you are aware that staying in one place could push away the deer then you probably should consider other choices.
2.)Tripod Treestands – somehow this kind of stand has exactly the same feature as of the fixed position stand. They only differ in a place to install. Unlike the fixed position stands this is usually suited in fields where there is less tress. The trouble with this stand is, this is also susceptible to losses because the tendency that they might be stolen is great. Like fixed position stand this also left up all season. Using this may cause the same problem with the latter.
3.)Climbing tree stands – this type is highly recommended to most hunters because this was proven to be the most efficient and effective .This tree stand has parts that are separated from each other. They are the seat and the platform. This equipment can be attached to the tree. The seat will be raised first to the tree and once it is secured the bottom platform will be raise using the feet. When you reach your desired height check it again with a ratchet so that it will not move. Be sure that it is comfortable for you. Your comfort is very important.
The most important thing to remember in using tree stand is SAFETY. Untoward incidence can be avoided if proper safety measures are followed. Have you ever heard of some accidents the deer hunter meet while hunting? That was been avoided supposedly if they just follow safety measures. There are some hunters who are careless in handling their equipment so this may result to some injury. To avoid these things from happening to you here are some deer hunting tips:
